Hong Kong and Kowloon from our window |
Hong Kong is fairly self explanatory.
Water, earth, air and fire, the four ancient elements abound in this teeming city. I took so many pictures it became difficult to choose, so I've divided this post into "places" and "foods". You can easily find the four elements in these pictures.

Escalators in the "mid levels" take residents down the hill in the AM and up in the PM. The twenty escalators are the longest outdoor covered system in the world!

Kowloon has become quite the shopping competitor to Hong Kong, We did our part!
We were lucky to witness this laser show one evening
Near our hotel, is a small temple, where folks come to offer incense and food to the gods, I have to presume their prayers are answered or this sanctuary would have been out of business by now.
