On the northern tip of the Palawan is Bacuit Bay, home of El Nido Resorts. We found it to be the most stunning array of islands and ocean either of us have ever experienced. Corral reefs, incredible beautiful fish, caves, shear limestone cliffs (over 250 million years old), wild beaches, it went on and on. We stayed on Lagen Island, a very comfortable place comprised of 50 cottages. The service was excellent and our days were filled with island touring, snorkeling, beach combing and of course meeting new people over food and drink. Probably the best indication of our pleasure being there is that we lost track of time and never bothered to comb our hair!
